Arman Grigoryan wurde 1985 in Yerevan, Armenien geboren. Er studierte von 1994-2001 an der Armenian National Ballet School. Im Jahr 2001 tanzte er für die Israel Ballet Company unter der Direktion von Berta Jampolskaya. Von 2002-2004 war er Mitglied des Zurich Junior Ballet unter Direktor Heinz Spoerli. 2004 stiess er zum Züricher Ballet, wo er bis 2007 zum Solist aufstieg.
